How your data is used
I only collect data necessary to provide you with therapeutic services. This data is securely stored, never shared with third parties without your explicit consent (unless required by law or ethical safeguarding guidelines), and is retained securely after therapy ends in line with professional insurance requirements.
Data protection complaints procedure
In accordance with the UK Data Use and Access Act, you have a formal right to complain about how your personal data is managed.
If you have any concerns regarding your data, please follow this process:
1. Submit a Complaint: Please email Chloe@counsellingwithchloe.co.uk with your concerns.
2. Response: I will formally acknowledge your complaint electronically within 30 days.
3. Investigation: Your complaint will be investigated thoroughly and without undue delay, and you will be provided with a written outcome.
4. Escalation: If you remain unsatisfied with the resolution, you have the right to escalate your complaint directly to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at www.ico.org.uk.
